329.1 | Help with charts | MILVAX::SCHUFFELS | | Tue Jun 03 1986 12:03 | 12 |
| I don't know where you're located so this info might be worthless.
I just bought some charts at the Great Bay Marina in Newington,
N.H. They had a quite sizeable collection. Also Hudson's in
Newburyport, Ma. If you can't find what you want send me mail and
maybe we can get together. If you're not from around central Mass.
it's probably not worth it. I live in Lancaster and work at the
Mill.
Good luck

329.2 | Charts at Jackson Hardware and Marine | CLOUD9::FRENCH | | Tue Jun 03 1986 12:59 | 9 |
| I have bought charts at Jackson Hardware and Marine in Kittery Me.
It is about 1 mile north of the Maine N.H. border on the (old?)
interstate into Maine. Go north out of the Portsmouth circle about
1 mile. Don't take the 'new' hi rise bridge over the Piscataqua
river.

329.3 | in Marblehead ... | PULSAR::BERENS | Alan Berens | Tue Jun 03 1986 13:23 | 9 |
| F L Woods in Marblehead is a NOAA chart distributor and also has or can
order DMA and Canadian charts. I can't recall having to order any East
Coast NOAA charts -- the ones we wanted were always in stock. The wait
for Nova Scotia charts was about two weeks. Bermuda charts are also
stocked.

329.4 | Boats US by mail | GRAMPS::WCLARK | Walt Clark | Tue Jun 03 1986 13:52 | 10 |
| Boats US also stocks NOAA and other charts for those who do not
find them locally. This is a mail order service for Boats US members.
For coastal cruising though I have found the BBA Chart kits cover
99% of my needs, take up less space aboard, and end up costing about
half the equivilant NOAA chart costs. I did find that I had to
reinforce the couple pages that I use all the time though.

329.5 | Boston / South Shore | SUMMIT::THOMAS | Ed Thomas | Tue Jun 03 1986 14:27 | 9 |
| Bliss downtown store, dont know about their other stores (128 -
Peabody/Woburn or 128 - Dedham) but give them a call.
South Shore - Kehoes in Hingham Circle (parking access is an adventure
in itself) and I'm pretty sure the Welch co. in Scituate handles
charts

You need charts?!?!? Well check out Hub Nautical, 200 High St. Boston
(617) 426-9471. You'll have to ask about mailing.
They have every chart ever made!!!! :-) But seriously, they supply
the ships charts, so they have international and all U.S. ones also.
I purchased one for Hawaii (for a wall, not for a trip unfortunately).
Good book selection too!
