HI!
My name ist Bernd Klose and I'm working in Cologne/West Germany.
I'm sailing since 8 years and I'm happy to earn my own boat since
the beginning of 1985. It's a 28' steelen Vanguard II with a 10hp
SAPP-diesel inboarder. My sailing area is the Isselmeer/Netherlands
North-See (Belgium,Netherlands,W-Germany).
I wonder if there is any noter sailing in this area; I would like
to contact her/him to exchange experiances.

I.m not from there but have you read "Riddle of the Sands"? Mostly covers
your sailing area. Excellent sailing and adventure, and accurate.

"Riddle of the Sands" was also made into a movie starring Michael
York and Jenny Agutter. The director's previous experience was
making documentarys of olympic sailing and it shows in his camera
work with a remarkable perception of the interplay of boat and sea
and wind. Beautifully photographed scenery as well.
