| The USYRU 1985 Yearbook lists the 27 yacht clubs that belong to the Maine Yacht
Racing Association, unfortunately without addresses, and you can't always
tell location by name. It does list "Portland Yacht Club" as a member. I
suggest you contact one of the association officers:

| Hi, I just started reading this notes file and this note caught my eye.
If you are still looking for info on yacht clubs in the Portland area, my
father is a member (and past commodore) of the Center Board Yacht Club in
So. Portland, ME. It's a small (about 150 member) member-operated club located
directly across from the Portland waterfront in Portland Harbor.

I'll get the address, current commodore, etc. for you.
