Does anyone have a recent edition of the BUC Used Boat Price Guide that I could
borrow or get copies of a couple of pages?
For those who aren't familiar with BUC, they are a research group that publishes
three 'blue book' type volumes that cover new and used boat prices. They're
similar to auto price books but are more detailed and quite expensive. Vol 2 of
the used book goes back to something ridiculous like 1907 or 1908. Vol 1, which
covers recent years, costs $55.00 so it's not a purchase to take lightly.
Usually a dealer will let you take a look at his copy but in a weak moment I
broke down and ordered my own.
Vol 1, 47th Edition (1977-84) is going to press soon and will ship by late Nov.
If anyone needs info after that I'd be happy to make copies of individual pages.
