I have seen in the previous note (432.*) that some of the users would like to have a PQM agent on NT
working with the actual VMS PQM server.
I really don't see the features that a PQM client would provide to NT over than its Printer Manager.
It seems to me that if a VMS print queue is shared by Pathworks or by UCX (LPD Daemon) it is automatically
seen by all the PC using TCP/IP or another protocol. You must only connect it by hand on each PC.
This feature doesn't exist between two vaxes that's the reason of using PQM.
Keep in mind also that the PQM server is only using DECNET as protocol which is not the best one
on NT. But if you need a tool to declare globally your printers on your NT servers from a central point
we can discuss about its functionalities.
