| Marc,
PQM is still included in the SEPS97 (ex DECstep) platform, which
has just started roll-out, so I think many sites still use it. In
Sweden and Denmark we certainly do. The reason it's so quiet in here
might be that it's been a while since the latest new version, and most
problems show up at upgrade (or new installation).
What I'd really like to see is the capability to setup queues using
telnet and LPD symbiont. Many of our smaller offices have migrated
to TCP/IP, and don't have any LAT anymore. An other feature I miss is
to be able to setup two queues to the same Printserver node. We
sometimes need two different queues, maybe one portrait and one
landscape, to the same printer. It might be an application that needs a
special setup, and there is no way to send qualifiers/parameters from
inside the application.
There was talk of a version 5.0 running on NT server? Has that been
cancelled?

| Hello,
In CCS Germany we use PQM to setup nearly all of our existing print queues.
There are two exceptions:
- queues where we have to use the LPD printsymbiont (SAP / R3)
- special printer connected to NT server
Our hope is, that we will have a PQM version which is able to setup LPD queues
and which is able to run on NT server.
regards
Wilfried
