I have an HP682 and you are correct, the HP600 series do not signal when they are out of ink. Since the print head is part of the ink cartridge, damaging the print head by running out of ink is not a concern as it would be in some other printers. /Rich | |||||

THe HP 1600 will tell you. I don't think any of the other HP's will, with the possible exception of the 820/870 series (though I doubt it for them also...) CHris |
