The purpose of this message is solicit your help in identifying what new
features and/or functionality should be considered by the ACMS Desktop team
as Product Requirements for the next release(s) of the product.
Please use the attached form to submit your product requirement(s).

Brief Product Description
-------------------------
The ACMS Desktop product enables PC or workstation users (clients) to
access ACMS server-based transaction processing applications from
their native desktop "point-and-click" environment. The product
currently supports the following desktop clients, network transports,
server platforms:

Features/Functionality Under Consideration
------------------------------------------
The following is a partial list of new features and/or functionality
that is under consideration for the next release(s). As well as submitting
additional requests, please prioritize the following:
o ActiveX Automation based interface. Will provide an easier to
use no I/O task call interface for VB and other development
languages. This interface should also address client to server
data alignment issues.
o Windows NT web server interface for ACMS. This will be based
upon providing the above ActiveX Automation client interfaces that
can be used by Microsoft IIS and other NT based web servers.
o Winsock 2 support for Windows 95 and Windows NT. This will be
used to provide TCP/IP, DECnet (Pathworks 32) and Netware support.
o Provide a multi-threaded version of the client API.
