Is there a way to restrict users from logging in to a particular system or systems via an attribute in the user's record in the registry? If not, is there a work around? When will this capability be available? Thanks. Scott Fafrak [email protected]

Scott, maybe you can try the passwd_override file. You can specify the OMIT attribute the disable an account on a certain system. The drawback is obvious, you have to maintain this LOCAL file ! /marco | |||||

I guess this will work, but the customer does not want to maintain 100 different password override files. Is there some way to automate this? I have heard of some code from I think Kobe University that uses the extended registry attributes and then creates password override files from that. Has anyone heard of this? |
