I have not seen this. The earlier OS patch required a kernel
rebuild. Please check and see if the OSF400-106 also requires
a kernel rebuild and if so make sure that it has been done.

2164.3 | SIA is enabled | NETRIX::"[email protected]" | Scott Fafrak | Thu Feb 27 1997 12:49 | 8 |
| Mustie,
Yes, they are running with SIA. I will check that the patch revision requires
a kernel rebuild, and whether or not they have done so.

2164.4 | root account works fine. | NETRIX::"[email protected]" | Scott Fafrak | Thu Feb 27 1997 12:51 | 6 |
| Yes, they can run fine from the root account, but only from the root account,
and that is not satisfactory.

2164.5 | Check permissions in /opt/dcelocal/var/security/creds | NETRIX::"[email protected]" | Mustie | Wed Mar 05 1997 13:31 | 15 |
| Hi,
Please check the permission bits for the directory
/opt/dcelocal/var/security/creds
It should be as follows:
drwxrwxrwt 2 root system 8192 Mar 5 13:27
/opt/dcelocal/var/security/creds/
Also, I assume that there is enough space in /opt/dcelocal/
which usually resides under /var/.
