Hi Gang! A customer writes: > I need to access the DFS API in a server I'm working on. I don't > see the DFS header files (in /usr/include/dcedfs) or the DFS > libraries (such as libdcedfs.a) anywhere. Why aren't these > resources included in your distribution, and how can I get them? I have not been able to find anything to indicate that the DFS development environment is available. Is this really correct? If yes, then how can this customer get a copy of the DFS development kit. Thanks in advance for any help, Carl Reese CSC/Colorado Springs

Carl, This is what I have found out: The customer would need a DCE source license at the very least. It's not really in a form that lends itself to easy shipping. It may ultimately wind up that the DCE group will need a way to provide this in the future. There are no plans to do so currently. Jeff |
