I have a customer who is running in a near real time environment. He is looking for static versions of our libraries, because he feels that his application runs better when compiled using static libraries. He says we are the only vender he uses that does not provide them. As I am new to DCE and as yet have not been able to look into the kit do we ship them, and if not can we get him a static version to compile with? He is running 2.0a on 4.0. He also says that a setuid program he wrote under DCE 1.03 worked just fine but will not run set uid under 2.0a anyone seen this? He was not able to show me because his equipment rack was off-line the day I was at his site. Sam S.
