    This note is refered to in the hidden text in the article -
    [OpenVMS] SYSTEM-F-TIMEOUT Using Console For DCL & TPU On 8xxx Alphas

    It suggests CSC32::DOCROOT:[COMMON.INTDRV.ENG_IMAGES.C960726-3554] -
    SYS$OPDRIVER.EXEV62;1    fixes the problem.

    This image was dated Aug 1996 and the latest ECO for sys$opdriver is
    ALPOPDR02_062 dated Oct 95.

    I have a cust that needs the fix but am uncomfortable sending out a
    lone image that is not part of an official ECO.

    Has this simply been overlooked or does anyone know why a new version
    of the ECO containing the new image was never produced.

    Thanks
