Quick question. Was there ever anything SCA oriented in the DEC Fortran 90 compiler? Neil.

Hi Neil, The short answer is, "Not yet". We were hoping to include support for Digital Fortran (Fortran 90) in SCA V4.5 as part of DECset V12.2, but until we get the actual analysis file data from the compiler itself, there's little that we can do. As a result, we may have to ship V12.2 without SCA support for Digital Fortran. You may wish to ask the compiler development team where they are with their plans to generate SCA analysis data. My understanding is that they've been concentrating primarily on NT, so other things may have been squeezed out. -- Daryl

Most excellent. I'll go irritate some Fortran guys. Neil.

No need to irritate us, we're pretty itchy already. I'm working on SCA support for F90, but can't make any promises as to "when". Steve |
