Is is still not possible to get hold of the format of a .ANA file Reading note 139 it would appear it is not available. Can someone officially confrm this is still the case ? Our customer wants to generate his own .ANA files from a third-party product(s) and use these to populate SCA. Is he on his own here or can we help ? Ewan Smith - UK CSC

Hi Ewan, I am not aware of any plans to release the format of analysis files to the public and I have forwarded your query to Cathy Axel -Product Manager. -James | |||||

Hi Ewan, I don't know if Cathy had time to get back to you before she went away but the format of the ANA files is not publically available. Releasing the spec. is one of those things which, on paper, sounds like a useful idea but in practice will create more grief for all concerned - ask any of the compiler developers how straight forward and easy ANA file generation is ;-) After saying this, plans can change. -Paul |
