595.0. "Christmas in Finland?" by LESREG::SIPILA () Tue Dec 12 1995 12:46
Can some one write and tell me how Christmas is celebrated in Finland.
What special things are baked for the holidays?
My husband and family are Finnish and I would like to surprise them
with something that they had back in Finland for the holidays.
My Finnish is very limited and I am just learning how to say "Merry
Christmas" in Finnish.
Just recently in one of my crafts books I found a pattern for a
Joulupukki, but of course it is to late to make it for them for this
year. Oh well, a great gift for next year's Christmas.
Thank you in advance for your help.
"Houska Joulua"
Regards,
Susan Sipila
