A very good rock/soul/blues band is "Veeti and The Elastic Family".
"J Karjalainen" does well too, but he's more country than rock/blues.
"22 Pistepirkko" is a good band. A very funny band is now "Leningrad
Cowboys and the Chorus of Red Army" featuring really singers from
old Soviet Army. They have all famous rock classics done with
their way!
If you look for the older stuff, then "Wigwam" and "Jukka Tolonen".
Their music is progressive rock. As a pure rock band, "Hurriganes"
was claimed to be the best at it's time. "Eppu Normaali" has done
some very good records; all sang in Finnish though. "Royals" was
ROCK band. Sleepy Sleepers (look for Leningrad Cowboys) was maybe
not good, but very funny.
...that was some of them
