Could someone tell me how to get in touch with the SWEA (Swedish
Women Educational .....)
Also, there is a notesfile dated October, 1986 which tells how
to subscribe to Gult och Blatt (a newsletter for Swedes), 50 Pine
Street, Wellesley, Mass. Does anyone know if this is still
accurate?
I am interested in knowing of any Swedish organizations within
Massachusetts (Boston or surrounding towns).
Thanks again,
Brenda

Newsletter: Gult och Bltt (the name refers the colors, gul - yellow,
bl - blue, on the Swedish flag; like saying "Stars and Stripes"
referring to the US flag)
Yes, send to the address, 50 Pine Street, Wellesley, MA 02181.
A one-year subscription is $10 US, a two-year subscription is US$19.
SWEA - Boston
From back issues of Gult och Bltt I have several members' phone numbers:
Helene (508) 486-8274, Lena (617) 259-8393, Boel (508) 481-3919,
Berit (617) 969-4734, Eva-Gitta (617) 259-9735.
Swedish organizations within MA
Gult och Bltt would be the place to find them, for example:
Swedish American Council
770 Boylston Street, 6H
Boston MA 02199
