As the two teams will meet in the semi-finals, the winner of their game will meet the winner of Poland vs. Brazil. We look forward to a nordic world champion (uh, may I suggest that it be Iceland...). Magnus

They all came as soon as the teams had tallied the score and congratulated each of the winners. And did so cheerfully! I think you Swedes can be proud of your men. All the luck to them for the third place. Magnus | |||||

World Champions! I'm sure that Magnus, our local reporter in Japan, will fill us in on the details. Hearing the Icelandic national anthem abroad for the first time was a moment to remember. Magnus PS. The first 64 boards in the Iceland-Sweden match has been termed by many as the best bridge played in the tournament. It's clear that Nordic has firmly established itself as a home of bridge powerhouses. |
