447.0. "Scandinavian Music Search" by ICS::KMATTSSON (Professional Node Migrator) Wed Jan 30 1991 16:42

As I've written in here before, I sing with a Scandinavian singing
group and we're always looking for new and interesting music from
Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland and Finland.

Ours is a 14-voice ensemble and it is heavily Swedish, so finding good
Swedish music is not a great problem. As we don't have the knowledge
of the musical histories of the other four Nordic countries, our
repetoir (sp?) is limited from there. That's where all of you come in
    8-).

I'm looking for any help about traditional song writers or groups that
perform such music. Any leads would be helpful. I'd like to widen the
musical horizons a bit, and any way that we can get our hands on some
sheet music is great. Even if you know of people to get in touch with
    I would much appreciate it.

    Looking forward to your responses,

    >>>Ken
