    Roy Helander, a producibility technician for Small Systems in the Mill,
    has received the medal for Knight, First Class, in the Order of the
    White Rose from the government of Finland. 
             
    For more than 40 years, Roy has promoted Finnish culture in
    Massachusetts through music, journalism, and the dramatic arts. He
    received the award before the official Finnish delegation to FinnFest
    '88.  The festival commemorated the founding of New Sweden (now the
    state of Delaware) in 1638 by the Swedes and the Finns.
