Copied from "Sweden" a Swedish Tourist Board publication:

                                Bird-watching

The southern and central areas of Sweden are renowned among
ornithologists. Hornborgasjn in the province of Vstergotland
is where the cranes perform their spectacular courtship dance in
the middle of April [see also Note 79], Ottenby on the island of
land is an observatory for migratory birds and Falsterbo, on the
southern tip of Skne, is a popular spot to watch the migration
of thousands of birds of prey. The Swedish Touring Club (STF) arranges
    bird-watching tours in the spring.
