123.0. "Tervetuloa !" by HSK01::MAENNISTOE (Asko M{nnist| IS Helsinki) Thu Jul 17 1986 10:00

	If you want to brush up your Finnish, you might look at
	notesfile in Finland, address HSK01::FNO

	Well, of course you can use English, though most of the
	notes are Finnish.

	HSK01::FNO don't have any special subject, so open your
	minds (and mouths) as you like (but nice).

	Welcome

    Hei, Asko:

    Kuinka se menne? Can you tell me how to access that notesfile?
    Kiitos!
    I am located in Maynard (Mass, USA) at the Mill and would like to
    practise reading some Finnish.

    Terveisin,

    The base note wasn't set to allow use of KP7 for selection so I
    set this one. Be prepared for some delay from New England to Finland.
    Also, some characters don't display as they should on standard North
    American VT100s.

Or, as we used to say in Sweden, "Your Finnair flight to Helsinki
has now landed, please set your clocks back 10 years."

Martin.

    re .0: Glad you announced it here. I had already given up hope that
    any conferences make it on one of the HSK nodes.

    So far, activity seems to be a bit on the low side; I hope this
    announcement helps a little. All notes so far seemed to be in Finnish,
    but as Asko pointed out in .0, English would be acceptable too.

    ...but I think the moderator should officially ban Swedish in that
    file....               :-)
