82.2 | What about Iceland? | BLITZN::PALO | Rik @(oo)@ Palo | Mon Apr 07 1986 17:05 | 11 |
| Back in 5.4 it was mentioned that there was only a dedicated Sales
representative for Iceland, which reported to the Kopenhagen office.
I'm very curious whether there is a need for a "dedicated" S/W person
there also... I would like to discuss the possibility with the
appropriate people if possible. Since I don't really know who those
people are, I would presume that people from the respective office
monitor this notesfile and will drop my name.
regards,
\rik

| There's a VTX database on HSK01:: (object 243) that also includes
job openings in the Helsinki office (in Finnish, obviously!)

82.4 | | BLITZN::PALO | Rik @(oo)@ Palo | Tue Apr 08 1986 09:49 | 9 |
| I left my pocket Suomi-English dictionary at home. Maybe if there
are any openings that a foreigner could fill, someone could do
a rough translation. Must say that it was interesting seeing Finnish
on this US VT100! (I was amazed at the response time, faster than
greased lightning!)

82.5 | <VTX contains old info> | HSK03::PEURA | Pekka Peura * CSC * Helsinki | Tue Apr 08 1986 15:55 | 8 |

The VTX infobase on job openings in Helsinki seems to contain
only one open job and has allready filled. There are though
lots of open jobs in Helsinki, but most of the managers don't
update the info on VTX.
If you are really interested drop a mail to the Helsinki office
personnel department to Arja HSK01::ASTROM.

82.6 | Swedish job openings | STKSWS::GULLNAS | Olof Gullns | Fri Apr 11 1986 14:52 | 13 |
| For Swedish job openings try the vtx database at node STKEIS:: object
43. 1 on the first menue and 2 on the second. there is several pages
of job openings in the database. I think you can fin around a dozen
(perhaps more) openings that are software related. Another possibility
is to sen mail to the Swedish personell manager. He use MTS/DECMail
so his address is "Erik Tegner @soo". If you do not have a message
router gateway nearby use the address
"STKEIS::MRGATE!Erik Tegner @soo"
You can also try the managers directly if you want to.

Also -

82.11 | correct contact for Finland | HSK03::PEURA | Pekka Peura * CSC * Helsinki | Thu Oct 30 1986 14:20 | 9 |
| re: .10
Sorry i didn't check Arja's username when i entered note .5.
Her name is Arja strm and i made a mistake of how
the scandinavian characters in her name were translated
to US ASCII for the vax username (I wonder if VMS will
ever start supporting scandinavian characters in usernames)
The correct address is HSK01::OSTROM

82.12 | Contact for Norway. | BEAGLE::MULELID | | Fri Oct 31 1986 07:04 | 9 |
| For Norge you could try Ingunn Wood at the personell department,
her address is (for VAXMAIL):
OSL01::INGUNN
Good luck
Svein.

I would like to formally say that I'm looking for a transfer out
of the US. My places of preference would be Skandinavian countries,
but am looking into Germany and France too. I've sent feelers to
the names listed in previous replies, but this notice now is for
anyone else who might happen to know of anything for a VAX systems
person. Resume' available upon request.
thanks in advance...
