311.0. "Please take this short survey" by NUTELA::CHAD (Chad, ZKO Computer Resources) Thu Aug 01 1991 01:12

Mr. Moderator. I hope this is appropriate for this conference.
I will delete this next week after the paper is done.
	Thanks

	Hi!

I am currently writing a short research paper for my English Advanced
Writing requirement class, technical writing. The subject of my
paper is the C language and its use in software engineering.
More specifically, the affect of C on productivity. As part of
my research I am conducting a short survey amongst computer
professionals. I would appreciate it if you could please answer
the questions at the bottom of this letter and return it to me
by the end of the week (late friday is fine). I realize that this
	is short notice.

	thanks

	chad

It's fine here, but I suggest also posting to the TURRIS::VAXC conference.

The community of Notes users is a give-and-take community; people should
contribute information as well as taking information. In this case, I ask that
you do not delete your base note. Instead, please post a summary of your
results (or a copy of the completed paper, if that's convenient and you're
willing).

Thank you, all that participated. I will post a pointer to the paper
when it is completed and the term is over.
