    Help!

On failing to find an ALGOL-68 NOTES Conference I resort to posting
this question in the hope of a fast reply??

Can anyone let me know what plans there are (if any) for ALGOL-68 to be
    made available on ULTRIX/RISC???

Why on earth am I interested in ALGOL-68, I hear you say; well I'm
NOT but the Customer for whose business we are bidding IS!

A rapid response would be appreciated.

    With thanks in advance,

    			Dave.

| Digital doesn't offer an Algol 68 product at the moment on any
platform, although System Designers in the UK do market a 68 compiler
    for VAX/VMS. I don't know whether a Digital Algol 68 product is
planned, but I somehow doubt it.

If Algol 68 is a firm requirement, and it's a UK customer, maybe you
could put them in touch with RSRE, who have a portable Algol 68
compiler which they've implemented on several machines (it's the
front-end for the VMS compiler marketted by SD).
