Can anyone answer the following question for me ? If you can, please
respond (to me) by mail as well, as I only rarely follow this conference.
Thanks,

Subj: A question
I've come across a short extract from a book/article called
"Real Programmers don't use Pascal" by a guy called Ed Post.
Do you have any idea where the original was published? ie was it
an article in a journal/rag or a book or a "NOTE"?
Just thought you'd know!
Byee
Chas

I have a copy (of a copy...) of this article, but it does not contain the title of the publication. It is in a column entitled "Readers' Forum". The date is July, 1983. I think the publication might be "Communications of the ACM", but I'm not sure. Mike

It eventually showed up in, if memory serves, Datamation or Computer Decisions; however, I had seen a photocopied version some months before it appeared in print, so I'm not sure the author is the same. In any case, the magazine version I saw was bowdlerized.
