There are a lot of notes in here that have more to do with Ada than with languages in general. Would an Ada notesfile be appropriate? <_Jym_>

I don't think that these are really ADA issues, but notes on how a new compiler is fairing. If DEC were about to release a new FORTRAN that was about to make a big splash, I would be interested because its a DEC language and not because its FORTRAN. Once the compiler has made its splash, I would like to know what the sales, etc are, but I expect that most mention of ADA in the current fashion will disappear. | |||||

I agree that the general compiler and language information surround- ing Ada should be discussed here; but I think there's enough discussion going on in this file (and in the PASNOTES file?) that would best go on in an Ada notesfile. Also, I think an Ada notesfile would be a good idea in its own right; simply because some people shy away from this file (partly due to its description as "language rants and raves"). <_Jym_> |
