41.0. "Ada Notesfile" by VAXUUM::DYER () Fri Oct 26 1984 13:09

	There are a lot of notes in here that have more to do with Ada than
with languages in general. Would an Ada notesfile be appropriate?

I don't think that these are really ADA issues, but notes on how a new
compiler is fairing. If DEC were about to release a new FORTRAN that
was about to make a big splash, I would be interested because its a
DEC language and not because its FORTRAN.

Once the compiler has made its splash, I would like to know what the
sales, etc are, but I expect that most mention of ADA in the current
fashion will disappear.

	"Ada" - please. Its not an acronymn, is a trade mark!

	I agree that the general compiler and language information surround-
ing Ada should be discussed here; but I think there's enough discussion
going on in this file (and in the PASNOTES file?) that would best go on
in an Ada notesfile.
	Also, I think an Ada notesfile would be a good idea in its own
right; simply because some people shy away from this file (partly due to
its description as "language rants and raves").
