DIGITAL FORTRAN 77 VX7.0-42-3278 I think I'll need to IPMT this problem but I thought I'd check here first. This assertion error occurs when the source code is compiled with /DEBUG/OBJ so it may be that the problem is in the compiler's generation of object module debugger records. Has anyone seen this before? Unfortunately the source code to this problem is about 4000 lines long, so I won't bother posting it here. thanks Simon

If it fails in v7.1, don't submit an IPMT case... report that fact here and give us a pointer to the source and how to reproduce the problem. /Stan | |||||

Stan, Sorry about the confusion, I was just reproducing what the customer gave me. I believe the problem occurs on alpha. I've since installed EV7.1-107-3313 and it works fine; no assertions. cheers Simon | |||||
