I have a customer who wishes to migrate an application off RS/6000 to VAX. They're using Fortran 90 on the RS/6000. Do we have any suggestions for tools and solutions? If you decide to send me e-mail I'm on Charles Pinsky @NOO or MSDOA::PINSKY and my telephone number is (504)885-2447. Thanks, Charles.

To VAX? Why? We don't have a Fortran 90 for VAX. Last I knew, NAG and Pacific-Sierra Research had Fortran 90 products for VAX, but I doubt they will be wholly satisfactory. Is there a good reason the customer isn't moving to Alpha instead? Steve | |||||

Fortran 90 implementations for VAX are: VAST/f90 from Pacific-Sierra Research Group, http://www.psrv.com/vast NAGware f90 from Numerical Algorithms Group, UK, http://www.nag.co.uk/ Both of these translate to C as intermediate code. Steve |
