1145.2 | Possible workarounds. | KERNEL::PULLEY | Come! while living waters flow | Fri Jan 24 1997 05:19 | 7 |
| Here's a list of workarounds they're looking into, not in this order:-
1. Change code so 0/ so it might ask for no carriage returns.
2. Change the data format.
3. Use the image before it was recompiled.
4. Recopile on VAX & VEST it on Alpha.
5. Move the data file to VAX--(if appropriate format).

| Using an old image won't help - the bug is in the RTL.

1145.4 | Resolution? | KERNEL::PULLEY | Come! while living waters flow | Thu Feb 13 1997 05:40 | 7 |
| The customer's working with a combination of changed programs and data
moved to the VAX.
He's OK with that, but is the issue on a list of things to deal with?
If so, any idea what version or when it might be solved?
Thanks.

| Yes, it's on the list to be fixed. Until it is fixed, we can't predict
when it would show up. We will probably have an ECO kit for the RTL at
some point.

| We can't reproduce this with Digital Fortran V7.1.
