Ron Brender said this would be a good place to put this... ... (ladebug) e store Ladebug Debugger Version 4.0-20 caught signal "Segmentation fault" (11). This is an unexpected condition and may indicate the presence of a defect. If you wish to report this, please include the stack trace that follows. Diagnostic stack trace ... 0x122a2920 0x121f1738 0x121f9d94 0x121e31d0 0x121e0a5c end of diagnostic stack trace. tcsh> Please send me mail ([email protected]) if you want more info. (I don't follow this conf.) (Also, I'd like to add a comment that dbx was much more graceful about catching its own errors and at least attempting to return to its own command prompt. It's "rather irritating" to be well into a debugging session trying to debug a problem only to have the debugger die and have to get back to the actual point where you were trying to do something.)

Subject: RE: Can you try 4.0-37 Date: Wed, 21 May 97 17:25:23 EDT From: "gemevn::smtp%[email protected]"@tle.ENET.dec.com To: "'http://asaab.zko.dec.com/~lucia/biography.html'" "<\"tle::lucia\"@gemevn.zko.dec.com>" -35 (which we have on our main system) appears to be OK. (I wound up needed to debug a problem on an ev45 system, and it was only that older system that had the old version of ladebug on it.) Kent |
