871.0. "call stack with no program" by TLE::JRICHARD () Fri Mar 07 1997 15:03

I'm probably the only one who would do this, but...

I've noticed that if you start dxladebug (-31) without a program
to debug, I can hit the call stack option menu and see what
looks like uninitialized data (the usual garbage).

I've also noticed that if you click on the nearby controls, process
and thread, the area shrinks to the point where the labels overwrite
the etched shadows.

I forgot to mention that everything goes back to normal when I load
a program into dxladebug.

I just noticed this shows up on my terminal window when I click
on the stack option menu:

getStackInfo: Illegal item code = 28

You ran into this problems when you use the latest ladebug from
our project area. These problems will be fixed before we release
the kit.

Oh... I assumed that kits from /usr/proj/debug/ladebug/Deliveries/alpha-osf1
were OK to grab. I suppose I should wait until you actually update
the "kits" web page.
