A partner has shown be a problem on Digital Unix 4.0A with Ladebug 4.0-26A where sometimes the "goto" command, either via typing the command, or via a user defined button in the GUI, says that certain source lines in a function are "out of range". But, the line(s) he is trying to "goto" are no where near the end of the function! Has anyone seen or reported this problem before? Is it fixed in 4.0-28? This is the type of problem that sounds to me like the compiler could be at least partially to blame. Regards, -Jeff

What compiler is being used ? If you can provide me with a source file, then I will investigate... Bob | |||||

Compiler being used is DEC, whatever version is standard with 4.0A. I'm not sure I can get you a source file that will reproduce the problem. This was found while trying to debug a partner's code within a LARGE application. I'm not sure, but I don't think this was a problem in 4.0-25. I'll have to double check and get back here later. -Jeff |
