1263.0. "Installation ACCVIO with V5.5-003 on VMS V7.1" by MOVIES::COMPTON (Celibacy...without it, children) Fri Feb 14 1997 11:34
I attempted to install DECC V5.5-003, on our DEC 4000 Model 720,
running VMS V7.1, and the installation crashed, as follows:
Please note that the compiler does not search the reference areas
SYS$COMMON:[DECC$LIB.REFERENCE.DECC$RTLDEF] and
SYS$COMMON:[DECC$LIB.REFERENCE.SYS$STARLET_C] during compilation.
Instead headers are taken from the text library.

1263.2 | False Alarm | MOVIES::COMPTON | Celibacy...without it, children | Mon Feb 17 1997 08:57 | 7 |
| Sorry for the alarm, it turned out to be false. Any use of SET COMMAND
on this system is causing an ACCVIO. So the system is sick in some way,
but not likely to be anything to do with DECC.
Thanks,
- Ian
