	Dan,

	I see from COMET that you entered 1148.9 in response to a customer
call.  My guess is that it probably isn't too late, and this issue might be
revisited by engineering, if an IPMT case were entered, or even if a
suggestion QAR were entered.

	I can accept the justification that was presented for leaving
fp_classf() the way it is, and just do my own checking where needed.
However, you customer (or some other) might not see it that way.
