Oracle installation guide states that OpenVMS 7.1 and Oracle 7.3 
should use DEC C v5.3 (which is the version that was used to certify
Oracle 7.3 on OpenVMS 7.1)  

Customer upgrading from OpenVMS Alpha 6.2 and Oracle 7.1 to OpenVMS
7.1 and Oracle 7.3 within weeks.  

Has anyone experienced this particular upgrade at a customer site?  If
so, are there any details that might make the upgrade run more 
smoothly for my customer?
