FWIW, the source for f2c is in the public domain and is available via gatekeeper at http://gatekeeper.dec.com/hypertext/gatekeeper.home.html Although I see Makefiles for UNIX and DOS, there is no mention of VMS. Also fwiw, I was able to build and run the program easily on Digital UNIX V4.0. I've used the program to convert Fortran parallel processing (loops) tests to C. The C code created from Fortran source is not the prettiest code, but it will at least get you started. Your mileage may vary... -Jeff

Asking for f2c raises the question, "Why do you want to use f2c?" There are good and bad answers to this question... expecially since there's a very nice Fortran product on VMS.
