Hi,
The v1.2-3C motif release supports vms v7.1, so you install and run it
on top of Vms V7.1. (See conf decwindows, note #5817 for more info on this
release).
However, you get an shridmismatch error when you use the decwindows interface
of the debugger with Vms v7.1.
It appears that the sys$share:debuguishr.exe image is linked against Motif
v1.2-4.
Is there a patch, a new image or any plan available to allow the use
of the graphical interface of the debugger with vms v7.1 and motif v1.2-3c ?

Hi Jean-Marc -
The TIMA kit which fixes this (that is, DEBUGUISHR linked against
Motif V1.2-3) should be available. (We did the engineering work
for it back in the Jan/Feb timeframe.) Can you not find it?

The only kit I have for vms V7.1 is vaxdebu01_071.
I do not have the same kit for alpha.
Also the release notes for this patch do not say that
it fixes a link problem with motif v1.2-4.
Do you know hte TIMA patch name for alpha ?

Upon further research, apparently the Alpha kit was never built.
They are starting to build it this afternoon.
