I am working with a customer who is having a problem with the Motif version of the debugger with Ada V3.3 and OpenVMS Alpha V6.2. Intermittently the debugger stops source code tracking. Although it's intermittent, it happens enough to be an impact to their effort. This happens only with the Motif version and not the character cell version. I'm not sure what the version of the debugger is. Has anyone else seen these problems, any fixes/workarounds? Keith Abbott

I'm not sure what you mean by "source code tracking problem". Does it show the right scope, i.e. routine, but indicate the wrong line? Does it fail to realize the right scope or fail to find the source entirely? The only V6.x problem I can think of was ECOed into V6.2...but it affected both the GUI and character cell. Nonetheless, it always helps to know the what debugger version involved. Lon |
