I didn't know where to post this, so if this is incorrect PLEASE point me in the right direction. I wanted to bake a cake in a pyrex bowl. Can anybody tell me if they have had success with this. Did you need to do anything differently - cooking time or temperature? Thanks Robin

Works fine. Just lower the oven temp by 25 degrees F. Baking time is the same. If you're using a very deep bowl (deeper than a normal cake pan), then you will have to bake longer to make sure the center is done. You may also have to lower the temp still more, but this will be hard to predict. | |||||
