I would like to know if someone can help me figure out what is in the
"Orange and other flavor of Julius'" like the stores in the Malls do.
I used to be able to buy a packet of stuff that makes a blender of
Julius drink, but can't find it lately and it is a little pricey
anyway.
It seems I should be adding sugar and maybe egg whites, but exactly
what I can't be sure, plus in what quantities?
Is there a real "recipie" for Julius mix?

Down hill in my humble opinion :-) In any case, as kids we used to mix OJ, powdered sugar, and some milk in the blender with some crushed ice, and whipped it. Not sure how close we came on taste to the real thing, but it was alot cheaper! | |||||

There are already a few variations of this recipe in this notes
conference.
I printed them out for myself, but i can't remember the note #.
perhaps you can locate them by doing a search.

The Orange Julius note is #642, if the mods would like to move this.
Another recipe for it:
8-10 oz. orange juice (already prepared with water, etc...)
1 egg (or an use egg substitute)
few drops almond extract
few drops vanilla
Whip in the blender until creamy. I think the almond extract is the
key to making orange julius.
