My wife's started buying lemon poppyseed muffins recently. I was sure a recipe for these would appear here, but the closest I found was 2927 (.3 of which points off at a non-existent note 1548). Any contributions on this topic would be appreciated. -- Andrew

Just for an interesting bit of information about poppyseed muffins....
I read an article about a women who had to take a blood test for a job
she was applying for. Her blood came back positive for narcotics or
something and she was turned down for the job. It turns out that she
had never done narcotics in her life, but had eaten a poppy seed muffin
for breakfast that morning which gave an indication of narcotics in the
bloodstream.......

Thanks for the pointer...
The appropriate notes (about the narcotic qualities of poppy seeds)
will be transferred to the proper place and this note will be
deleted next time I get the chance.
