Why don't we have this note for DECORATIVE (shaped) breads?
Let me explain...what I am looking for is a bread for Christmas
I got from a Family Circle(?) magazine in 1988. The bread was
shaped like a reindeer and stuffed with a date filling.
Does anyone has this (or close to it?) recipe? It went over great!
My poor gramma died that year, and I became sick and have no idea
what I did with the recipe.
Regards,
Brenda

| 3603.1 | For shapes try a kids coloring book | JURAN::JENSEN | Thu Aug 20 1992 11:32 | 9 | |
A place I look for shapes is kids coloring books. If you need it
bigger just enlarge it on a copier. This works for all sorts of
crafts. As far as the filling goes, look into Stollen and other
German/Scandanavian recipies. You could go to the library and copy
any recipe without investing in a book too.
I'll look at my books and see what I can come up with.
