I was at a party last weekend, and had this, I thought you would enjoy it: Take a pineapple. Carve out the pineapple in the middle about half way down. Set it on the side (cut into chunks if possible). Take a container of sour cream (16 oz. I think the normal size) and mix it together with vanilla pudding mix. Just the powder!!! Mix the vanilla powder and sour cream together then pour into the center of the pineapple. Dip the chunks into it. IT IS DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should try to chill the sour cream mix for about 10-20 minutes prior to serving.....

Just one of the packets that come in the box. I believe a 6 oz. pkg. Yes, instant is fine. Remember it's just the powder you are using.

Here's my version of the Fruit Dessert: Mix & Refridge: 1 Container of Cool Whip 1 pkg of Vanilla pudding powder In a separate bowl Cut & Mix: Grapes red & green Strawberries Cantelope Pineapple Bananas (last) And any other fruit you enjoy, although I haven't tried grapefruit or oranges. You can either leave the whipped mixture in a separate dish for those to scoop onto their fruit OR you can mix all together.

We put this mixture (usually vanilla pudding, cool whip & strawberries) on top of angel food - break the cake into chunks in a 9X13 pan, cover with the pudding/cream and then berries.......then chill. There is never ANY left over!!!! Yummm... Chris |
