3526.0. "CAKE: Dalmation Cakes" by USCTR1::PGREEN () Fri May 08 1992 10:29

    Does anyone know of a person that can make small individual Birthday
    cakes that look like 101 dalmations? I need about 12 of them and need
    them for next week? I don't know anywhere else to ask? Sorry if I am
    out of line? I live in the Worcester area. You can write to me at
    USCTR1::PGREEN instead of filling this file.

    Thank you.

3526.2Just asking....A1VAX::DISMUKESay you saw it in NOTES...Tue May 12 1992 12:4413
    Why do you need individual cakes? Wouldn't a regular size sheet cake
    work out?

    I have taken a picture to the bakery and asked them to "copy" it onto
    the cake. Any experienced baker can do it!

    I personally made a sheet cake for my son and copied the dalmation on
    top - it was a big hit!

    I'm sorry I can't help with the individual cakes, though.

3526.3Can't find a recipeAKOCOA::BBAKERMon Aug 03 1992 14:0710
    This has nothing to do with Dalmation cakes, but I still need help!

    Where, in this file, is the Chocolate Zucchini Cake recipe? I know it's
    here. Joanna Olson put it in a while back. Years ago. I've searched
    chocolate, zucchini, and cake and can't find it. Can anyone help? A
    friend is looking for it and my copy is 'amongst the rubble' somewhere
    at home.

    thanks

    Y'know, I did a dir/author=olson, and couldn't get it. Does the *.* at
    the beginning make it go thru the replies?

    Ok, so I'm a technical mental midget!

    If you need individual cakes, could you do cupcakes frosted with
    white frosting and dotted with something black (like dalmations)
    and then put them on a platter arranged to look like a dog? It
    would certainly be easier than decorating individual cakes to look
    like dogs.

    Last reply is a good idea, I thought of using those mini-choco chips
    when I read it, they'd be in scale.
