Does anyone know if mirlitons can be obtained in the Greater Boston
area? Mirlitons are vegetable pears that are a favorite cajun dish
stuffed with shrimp and baked. I'd be happy to enter a recipe for
them if anyone is interested.
Happy holidays,
Tanya

I've seen them both at Shaw's and Purity Supreme in southern New Hampshire. In New England, they seem to be sold under the Spanish name, choyote, rather than mirliton. --PSW | |||||
