QUICK AND DELICIOUS SALISBURY STEAKS
1 1/2 LBS LEAN HAMBURGER (MAKES 4 TO SIX PATTIES)
1 PKG BEEFY ONION SOUP MIX
1/4 CUP WATER
1 EGG
1/4 CUP CHOPPED ONIONS (OPTIONAL)
1/2 CUP ITALIAN BREAD CRUMBS (YOU MIGHT NEED A LITTLE MORE)
1 SM CAN SLICED MUSHROOMS (DRAINED)
1 LG (12 OZ) CAN BEEF GRAVY
MIX SOUP MIX WITH WATER. ADD HAMBURG, EGG, ONION, AND BREAD CRUMBS.
MIX TOGETHER WELL, IF MIXTURE FEELS TO MOIST ADD MORE BREAD CRUMBS.
SHAPE MEAT INTO 1 1/2 INCH OVAL PATTIES AT ABOUT 6 INCHES LONG COOK
AT 350 DEGREES FOR 40 MINUTES. DRAIN OFF FAT. POUR MUSHROOM'S AND
GRAVY OVER MEATLOAF AND BAKE FOR ANOTHER 20 MINUTES.
