I have cleaned out two very old cookbooks in which my 96 year old aunt saved tons of newspaper recipe clippings and box back recipes. I was going to throw them away but didn't have the heart and I bet there's something there someone might like. The little stack is 2 inches high of all kinds of recipes and in excellent shape, the newspaper clippings are still bendable and not brittle. Betty Crocker to Ann Pillsbury, Boston Globe 1952 and earlier. Post war recipes. FREE to first person sending mail stop. No separating of individual pieces, you take the lot! Has anyone asked for these recipies yet. It has been quite awhile since you asked. My Name is Jane Barter HLO2-3/L12. I wished I had asked for my Aunts because she could make a meal out of nothing and have it be "fit for the King" Depression generation. Thanks |
